Workshop to develop Khorat Geopark curricula (part 1, field trip)

On 20 March 2019,

the director of Khorat Geopark Asst. Prof. Dr. Pratueng Jintasakul, deputy directors Mrs. Oratai Payakmaroeng and Dr. Jaroon Duangkrayom, and directors and teachers of more than 20 schools, ventured on a field trip to study geotourism trails in Khorat Geopark.

The sites visited included an ancient stone quarry, 4,000 year old pictographs at Wat Loet Sawat (Khao Chan Ngam), the Ban Yuan Cultural Center, and Ban Yuan market in Sikhio District, and the Reclining Buddha statue, Sung Noen Railway Station, and Sema City in Sung Noen District.
