The Plant Genetic Conservation Project, Under The Royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at Khlong Phai is a station for training and publishing the work done at botanical gardens of participating schools in the Northeast and the others.  Training is provided to strengthen the knowledge of farmers and people in general. There is also study on conservation of natural resources, especially obtaining benefits from nature in a manner appropriate for preserving the environment and allowing everyone to share in the benefits sustainably.
