The Faculty of Science and Technology, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, enhances its international capabilities by participating in an exchange program in the People's Republic of China from December 6-13, 2025.

The objective was to send faculty and students to participate in an exchange program in science, geology, nature, and culture in a geopark area with East China University of Technology (ECUT), People's Republic of China, to develop teaching and learning, enhance international learning experiences, and expand academic cooperation internationally.
The program was held from December 6-13, 2025, at East China University of Technology (ECUT) and a geopark area in Jiangxi Province, People's Republic of China. A total of 12 participants from Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University participated, consisting of 2 faculty members and 10 students.
December 7, 2025: Faculty and students from Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University We were welcomed by the management team of East China University of Technology (ECUT), including Prof. Xu DeRu, Dean of the School of Earth and Planetary Sciences; Dr. Yu Zhen, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges; and Dr. Shi Guo, Deputy Director of the National Demonstration Center for Experimental Radioactive Geology Education, before the scheduled activities began.
At the opening ceremony, Assistant Professor Dr. Charoon Duangkra-om, Assistant Dean for Special Affairs and International Affairs, Faculty of Science and Technology,
represented the faculty at the official opening ceremony and delivered an academic lecture on the topic
“Introduction to UNESCO Global Geoparks of Thailand.”
He also participated in a meeting to discuss academic cooperation with the management and faculty of ECUT.
In addition, Prof. Chen LiuQiu, a professor from East China University of Technology (ECUT), gave a lecture on “Introduction to the Field Practice Areas, including Longhushan UNESCO Global Geopark,” introducing the field practice areas and world-class geoparks.
Meanwhile, Mr. Rattanyu Wongsa-sawat, a faculty member of the Faculty of Science and Technology, was also present. I had the honor of supervising and coordinating the students throughout the duration of the project.
Participating in this project is another important step in enhancing the capabilities of faculty and students, opening up a global perspective on science and geology, and providing opportunities for knowledge exchange and expanding academic cooperation between Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University and East China University of Technology (ECUT). This is a crucial foundation for the sustainable development of teaching and learning and international collaboration.
