I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who welcomed the UNESCO assessment team from July 20-24, 2026, until the first reassessment.

To the Board of Directors, the Geopark management team, partner agencies, government and private sectors, community leaders, local administrative organizations, educational institutions, the Khorat UNESCO Global Geopark network, and everyone present:

On behalf of the Khorat UNESCO Global Geopark, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for your concerted efforts and the time you dedicated to the preparations and the hosting of the UNESCO evaluators from July 20–24, 2026. Thanks to your contributions, the first revalidation process was successfully concluded and left a highly positive impression.

This success stems from the collaboration of all sectors—including working groups, government and private agencies, local communities, educational institutions, local administrative organizations, and networks across all five districts. Together, you have truly demonstrated the power of integrated work and public participation within the Khorat UNESCO Global Geopark.

The evaluation of "Form A" yielded highly satisfactory results. However, a crucial review stage remains: the Global Geoparks Council meeting in Paris this October, which will consider the reports and presentations submitted by the revalidation team. Nevertheless, the preliminary results we have received reflect the determination, dedication, and unity of everyone involved—a source of shared pride for us all.

Thank you once again. I sincerely hope that we will continue to work together to advance the Khorat UNESCO Global Geopark sustainably, for the benefit of our local communities, Thailand, and the global community. With respect and sincere gratitude,
Assistant Professor Dr. Pratueng Jintasakul
Director, Khorat UNESCO Global Geopark
