By following the best practices inspired by King Rama IX, we have integrated our 120-million-year-old geological wonders with a local learning center dedicated to self-reliance and sustainability. This holistic approach creates an unparalleled experience for both international researchers and visitors.

Driven by a partnership of provincial authorities, local government, academic institutions, Geopark’s family as Khon Kaen Geopark, we, Khorat Global Geopark can have Dr. Marie-Louise Frey, GGN expert, with us to share her GGN strategic insights and technical guidance. Our recent seminar focused on community empowerment and the strategic alignment of our unique geosites with UNESCO Global Geopark statutes and fundamentals. This collaborative learning event brought together over 70 participants, including 30 students and teachers from local and Geopark schools, 30 representatives from local authorities and community enterprises, and 10 members of the Khorat UGGp management team.
