In a significant step toward international collaboration, Khorat UNESCO Global Geopark, Thailand officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Curacautín- Kütralkura UNESCO Global Geopark, Chile on September 12, 2025. The ceremony took place during the 11th International Conference on UNESCO Global Geoparks, held in the Kütralkura UNESCO Global Geopark Geopark, Araucania Region, Chile.

​The MoU aims to facilitate joint projects in areas such as geological heritage conservation, sustainable tourism development, community engagement, and educational programs. This agreement strengthens the global geoparks network and reinforces the commitment to collaborative efforts in the face of global challenges. The partnership is expected to create new opportunities for knowledge exchange and the development of innovative programs that will benefit both local communities.
