The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) has joined forces with the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation (DNP) and Nakhon Ratchasima Province to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to jointly promote Khorat as a global geopark.
The Petrified Wood Research Institute, in collaboration with the Khorat Global Geopark and the Department of Mineral Resources, held a short training course on holistic geology for the establishment of a geopark on August 15-16, 2024, at the Sirindhorn Building Conference Room, the Petrified Wood and Mineral Resources Research Institute, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University.
The Petrified Wood Research Institute, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, in collaboration with Khorat Geopark World, held a meeting to establish a tourism cooperation network. The topic was "Development of Geotourism in the Khorat Geopark Area" using a hybrid model.
