Wa Phukaew Waterfall

This site is a waterfall along a river Chanel in a branch of Sap Pradu Stream flowing on sandstone like a waterfall. However, there is no water during the dry season. Over the surface of the stream can be found depressions shaped like pots, called spotholes, in the early stages of development.  They are small, shallow, oval-shaped with the long axis oriented parallel to the direction of the water current, and sloping downstream.  At the upstream side is a wall. This area is considered a model to explain the flow direction of the ancient stream in the source of the potholes where the stream has changed direction.
